Responsibility details are not available.
A set of double-sided, self-adhesive and pre-cut masking films (kabuki) for the Vought F4U-1A Corsair carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for masking, not a model in its own right: the masks define the frames of the glazed cockpit, the wheels and small areas exactly. The double-sided version makes it possible to mask the glazing from the inside as well as the outside and to get sharp, clean edges.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter with a characteristic cranked wing. Compared with the earliest birdcage cockpit, the F4U-1A version had a revised canopy with better visibility. The Corsair was among the most successful fighters of the Pacific.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Lay the masks on a dry surface, press the edges down well against paint bleeding and peel them off carefully once the paint has set. Numbered pieces and instructions make accurate placing easier.
This is a masking accessory, not a model in its own right. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
