HEKI Mimosa 13 cm, 2 pcs are two model trees for southern and Mediterranean scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two finished model trees from the German maker HEKI, thirteen centimeters tall. The mimosa, an acacia grown in warm regions, has fine pinnate foliage and a crown that branches low. On a model it forms the counterpart to the olive: both species belong to a southern landscape, but the mimosa is taller, airier and markedly colorful when in flower, so the two complement each other well.
The trees are pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. Do not put a saturated green lawn under the trees; a southern landscape is drier, so pale grass, stones and dust serve better. Spread the flattened crown carefully with your fingers after unpacking and leave it rather airy, as a dense compact crown does not belong to this species. Place the pair of trees at unequal distances from the main subject of the scene.
For builders of Mediterranean scenes and southern dioramas and for modelers who want a taller, airier species in a warm landscape. The pair of trees can also be split between two parts of a scene so that the same species repeats and the landscape looks consistent. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
