Eduard SPACE – Bf 109G-5 (1:24) is a color set of 3D decals and pre-colored steel belts for detailing the cockpit of the large model of the German fighter.

This set is not a kit but a premium detail accessory. The SPACE line combines color 3D decals of the instrument and side panels on a backing decal paper with pre-colored steel safety belts. The 3D decals have a real relief and full color, so the cockpit gains a rich look without any hand-painting. The set is intended for Bf 109G-5 models in 1:24 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the standard fighter of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. The G version (Gustav) was the most widespread and was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. The G-5 sub-version was fitted with a pressurized cockpit for flight at high altitude. The large 1:24 scale allows an exceptionally detailed rendition of the interior.
With the 3D decals, moisten only the backing paper with a damp sponge and a drop of dish soap, lift the part off with tweezers and fix it with PVA glue (white glue); the manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate glue for them. Do not use a decal softener, it attacks the printed layer. The steel belts are shaped and glued into the seat with cyanoacrylate glue. In a large scale even the small details of the dials and switches stand out.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
