This is a finished collectible model of a motorcycle, assembled and painted at the factory, not a kit. It combines a metal casting (die-cast) on the frame and the tank with parts in ABS and plastic, and the tires are of a soft material. The model has movable steering and a sprung rear swingarm and is supplied with a display base. The New Silver Dust finish refers to the silvery paint on the bodywork.
The Yamaha VMAX is an iconic street dragster whose first generation was introduced in 1985. It is powered by a massive 1200 cc V4 engine with the V-Boost system, which markedly increases the intake at higher revs and gives the machine brutal acceleration. The side covers imitating air intakes and the sturdy, power-oriented design are characteristic, and they are what won the VMAX its cult standing among powerful road motorcycles.
The model is meant for display on a shelf or in a display case. Protect it from dust and direct sunlight, and wipe fingerprints off the painted and chrome-plated surfaces with a soft cloth. When handling it, hold the model by the solid parts of the frame, not by the fine levers and mirrors.
