This detail set from Art Scale is intended for models of the German Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter in 1:72 scale. It contains 3D-printed landing gear wheels with a faithful tire tread and crisply rendered hub detail. They replace the plastic wheels of the basic kit with sharper and cleaner parts.
The wheels are always in plain sight on the model and their quality has a strong effect on the overall impression. 3D printing captures the fine tread pattern and the shape of the hub better than split plastic parts, and there is no seam to fill after joining wheel halves.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and clean them up gently. Apply a primer, then paint the wheels, shade the hubs and finish the tires with a dust patina. For a loaded look the bottom of the tire can be flattened, but only once you have checked how the model sits. Protect your airways when sanding.
It is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
