Responsibility details are not available.
Please read one sentence before buying: this is not a kit and there is no plastic in it. It is a sheet of water-slide decals from Studio27 in 1:24 scale and it serves to give an already built model a particular livery. You have to get the model separately, specifically the Toyota Celica GT-Four ST165 kit from the company Aoshima. Do not mix up the generations: the ST165 is the first Celica GT-Four, whereas the ST185 is its successor with a different body, a different kit (Tamiya) and a different decal sheet. Anyone who confuses the generation buys markings that will not fit the model.
The Rallye Monte Carlo is the most famous and at the same time the most treacherous rally in the world. It is run in January in the mountains above Monaco and its reputation rests on a single thing: the surface changes literally from corner to corner. Dry asphalt gives way to wet, beyond the ridge lies ice and in the shade of a rock snow remains, and the crew goes through all of it on one set of tires, the choice of which is a pure lottery before the start of a stage. The driver goes along a closed public road blind into a corner he cannot see and trusts the voice of the co-driver, who reads him the pace notes. LUK is the brand of a maker of clutches and it appears on the car in the role of a sponsor. The Celica GT-Four ST165 entered all this with a turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive as the first Japanese car that managed to break the European dominance in the World Rally Championship.
The most common mistake modelers make goes like this: a decal onto matte clear coat. Do not do it. The base has to be glossy, otherwise air takes hold under the film and a silver rim forms around the marking that you will not get rid of. So coat the body with gloss clear coat and let it cure thoroughly. The Celica has plenty of curves, the bumpers, the fenders, the pressings of the doors, and the marking will not settle there without decal softener. After it has dried perfectly comes the covering clear coat, and only after that weathering; the opposite order will destroy the decals. And weathering is worth it: a Monaco car in January is not a polished exhibit but a dirty car with grit and salt on the sills and wet splashes behind the wheels.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints, clear coat, glue and softener are not included.
