HEKI Firs 14 to 18 cm, 5 pcs is a set of five mature conifers.
Responsibility details are not available.
Five finished model conifers from the German maker HEKI, fourteen to eighteen centimeters tall. At a mature size a fir becomes a landmark in a scene: a dark cone almost twenty centimeters tall shades its surroundings and closes off a view. On a layout such trees are therefore not bought for the background, where they would overpower everything else, but for the foreground and the edges, where they are to frame the scene.
The trees are pushed into a prepared hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. With mature pieces make the hole deeper and fix the trunk with a drop of glue. Keep the spacing irregular and vary the heights, which the spread in the set gives you room to do. Spread the flattened branches carefully with your fingers after unpacking and keep the conical shape. Leave nothing but needles under the trees.
For builders of layouts and dioramas with coniferous forest and for modelers who need mature trees for the foreground. The five can be supplemented with shorter conifers of the same brand, and the growth then looks as though it is regenerating gradually rather than having been planted all at once. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
