One model fir 28 centimeters tall. A tall single tree for the foreground of a scene and for the larger layout gauges.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single mature conifer from the line of more detailed specimen trees. Twenty-eight centimeters is a height that will not go unnoticed in a scene: in the usual layout gauge it is a tree that rises above the surrounding growth, in the larger gauges a fully grown individual.
A tall specimen tree does two things in a scene. First, it sets the scale, because the eye judges the size of a house and a vehicle by a tree. Second, it divides the view: whatever stands behind it, we read as more distant. That is exactly why it pays to place it near the edge of a scene rather than in the middle, and to leave clear space around it.
It suits diorama modelers and layout builders who want a real tree in the foreground rather than a stage flat. The maker is a German company whose small trees are built from an injection-molded plastic armature with hand-bent branches, so every piece is a little different. The trunk can be shortened as needed, but shortening the crown is not advisable, because with a specimen tree its outline is the main thing. Around the foot of the trunk it pays to build undergrowth from small bushes and leaf litter; the transition between tree and ground is the place where it most often shows that a tree has merely been pushed into the terrain.
