A colored bush is a small thing on a layout that the viewer notices at once. A red shade serves as flowering shrubbery by a building, as the autumn foliage of low growth or as wild roses along a fence. It should be used sparingly: a few tufts placed among the green will liven a scene up, whereas a continuous area would look like a patch of color with no counterpart in nature.

Safety note: a natural material does not belong in the hands of the smallest children, and you should ventilate the room when working with fine granulate.
