A straight section is the part of a scene most sensitive to deviation. Even a small wander is clearly visible when you look along the track, and once the track is fixed down, putting it right means taking the surrounding terrain apart as well. Marking the run out in advance therefore saves work: you check the arrangement before it comes to glue and to the terrain work around it.
First remove dust and grease from the surface, otherwise the glue will not hold. Lay the whole scene out dry, without glue, and only then move on to fixing it down. Choose the glue according to the material of the surface and apply it over shorter stretches. Finish the terrain and the planting around the completed track, so that no loose material gets into it.
The accessory will suit modelers who are building a scene with track and want the arrangement under control before it is fixed down. Track, models, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
