An accessory set of details for the underside of the F-35A aircraft in 1:48 scale, produced by 3D printing and tuned for Tamiya kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-35A Lightning II is a single-seat combat aircraft with conventional takeoff and landing from ground bases. Its underside is not a smooth panel: there are bay doors, sensors, antennas and other small equipment on it, and it is precisely those that are easily overlooked on a model. Yet a viewer often looks a standing model over from below as well, when lifting it off the surface or when it is displayed tilted on a stand.
Detail parts for the underside of the aircraft in 1:48 scale, produced by 3D printing. The set is tuned for Tamiya kits. Which specific parts it contains and where they belong on the model are given in the manufacturer's instructions; that cannot be determined from the name, so go through them before the build.
Print supports remain on the parts. Cut them off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the surfaces left behind. Cut the small parts off only at the moment you are about to bond them, otherwise they are easily lost. The parts are not polystyrene and cement for polystyrene has no effect on them, so reach for super glue. Wash and degrease them before painting. Try the position dry first and only then bond; with small parts on a smooth surface, a wrong position can only be corrected after drying by damaging the surrounding finish.
For modelers who take the detail all the way even where it is not visible at first glance. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
