Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains fine photo-etched ship railings intended for sloping stairways (ladders) at an angle of 45 degrees, in 1:200 scale. It is not a model of a ship but a metal accessory that completes the deck stairways with accurate thin railings. It is made by the Polish company Aber, a specialist in photo-etched ship accessories.
The sloping stairways that connect the decks are conspicuous on models of ships, and plastic railings look coarse on them. The photo-etched version with a pre-shaped slope of 45 degrees lets you fit the railings exactly along the stairs and gives the deck a faithful look.
Nip the parts from the fret, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay the railings along the stairway and tack them down with spots of glue; degrease them before painting and go over them with a primer for metal. Work with tweezers.
