Airscale instrument panel DH Mosquito FB Mk.IV 1:24 is a set of color decals for the instrument panel of the British de Havilland Mosquito fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not an airplane model but a set of decals in 1:24 scale from the British company Airscale. It makes it possible to create a faithful instrument panel of the British de Havilland Mosquito fighter-bomber in the fighter-bomber version. The set contains color decals of the dial faces and of the labels matching the arrangement of the cockpit of this type.
The de Havilland Mosquito was an exceptional all-wooden twin-engined aircraft, nicknamed the Wooden Wonder. Thanks to its light structure and a pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin engines it reached high speeds and served in many roles, from fast bomber through reconnaissance to a heavily armed fighter-bomber with cannons and machine guns in the nose.
The decal is applied to a smoothly varnished surface of the instrument panel, ideally over a gloss clear coat and with a decal softener. Once dry, it is unified with a matte varnish, and the dial faces can be highlighted with a drop of gloss clear coat imitating glass. The set usually contains illustrated instructions.
This is an accessory (instrument panel decals), not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
