Airscale instrument panel Bf 109E 1:24 is a set of color decals for the instrument panel of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not an airplane model but a set of decals in 1:24 scale from the British company Airscale. It makes it possible to create a faithful instrument panel of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. The set contains color decals of the dial faces and of the labels matching the arrangement of the cockpit of this version.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed the Emil, was the main German fighter in the early phases of the Second World War, including the Battle of Britain. The inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine with direct fuel injection and a combination of cannons and machine guns made it a feared adversary. The cockpit was cramped and clearly laid out, with a typical arrangement of instruments.
The decal is applied to a smoothly varnished base of the instrument panel, ideally over a gloss clear coat and with a decal softener. Once dry, the surface is sealed with a matte varnish, and the dial faces can be highlighted with a drop of gloss clear coat imitating glass. The set usually contains illustrated instructions.
This is an accessory (instrument panel decals), not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
