An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Fairlady 300ZX Turbo sports coupe in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. The model captures the low, wide silhouette of the car, the glazing, a detailed interior and the chassis. A well worked out powerplant, chrome-plated fittings, rubber tires and a decal sheet are usually included as well. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Nissan 300ZX Turbo, sold in Japan under the name Fairlady Z, represents the Z32 generation, a top model of its day. Under the hood sits a V6 DOHC engine with a pair of turbochargers; the car drew attention with its modern, aerodynamic design with pop-up headlights and was offered in left-hand and right-hand drive versions. It belongs among the classics of the Japanese sports scene at the turn of the nineteen eighties and nineties.
Join the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Spray the body with an airbrush over a filler primer and cover the gloss shade with a clear coat, and only then apply the decals. The clear cover over the engine lets a finely painted powerplant be shown, so it is worth working the engine through carefully. Glue the chrome-plated and glazed parts at the very end with a glue for clear plastics; bring the interior to life by picking out the upholstery and the dashboard.
