The Volvo FH4 Globetrotter Medium Roof 1:24 from Italeri: an injection-molded plastic kit of the modern European tractor with a well worked out cab, engine and chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the modern European Volvo FH4 tractor unit with the Globetrotter Medium Roof cab in 1:24 scale from Italeri. The model offers a finely rendered cab interior, a complete chassis with the engine assembly, a tilting cab and an opening driver's door. In addition, the box holds chrome stickers, photo-etched metal parts and a generous decal sheet.
The Volvo FH is the flagship range of long-haul tractors from the Swedish brand Volvo Trucks, intended for international road haulage. The FH4 generation brought a modern aerodynamic cab, a spacious interior and high comfort for long-distance drivers. The Globetrotter Medium Roof version has a medium roof height, allows comfortable sleeping in the cab and stands for the top of long-distance transport; the highest variant of the range is the Globetrotter XL. The tractor is coupled to a semi-trailer and is one of the most familiar sights on European motorways.
Remove the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with a thin liquid plastic cement, and the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Lay a primer under the cab body and spray it with an airbrush in thin coats, finishing with a gloss clear coat for the typical shine of truck paintwork and for the decals to settle cleanly. The chrome stickers and the photo-etched fittings (grilles, wipers, mirrors) will give the cab realism, and the engine and the chassis can be brought out with a wash. Finish the frame, the tanks and the tires in matte shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
