The board, 3 mm thick and 280 x 180 mm in size (weight 170 g), carries a realistic print of a wooden bridge from the setting of the Eastern Front in 1943. It is not a kit – the base is finished and serves for displaying a model to effect.
The subject captures a makeshift wooden military bridge typical of the Eastern European battlefield of World War II (the Ostland area). The texture of the planks, the joints and the wear give the scene a believable historical setting for dioramas from 1941–1945.
Stand the model or the figure directly on the printed surface and add small vegetation, pigments or rubble to blend it with its surroundings. The base can be framed, combined with other pieces or set into a display case. The 1:24 scale suits large figures and vehicles.
