Responsibility details are not available.
A large injection-molded plastic model of the American heavy bomber Consolidated B-24D Liberator from Hobby Boss, in the large 1:32 scale. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is a big and demanding plastic kit with rich detail, including photo-etched parts. Given the size of the real aircraft, this is an exceptionally large model with a wide wingspan. Follow the included instructions and the box markings for the exact package contents.
The B-24 Liberator was an American four-engined heavy bomber with a distinctive high-mounted Davis wing and twin tail fins. The B-24D version was among the early mass-produced variants and carried heavy defensive armament in several gun turrets. Liberators flew over Europe and the Pacific on strategic bombing, maritime patrol, and long-range missions; more than eighteen thousand were built in total, making the Liberator the most numerous American military aircraft of its era.
For a bomber this large, finish and spray the interior, bomb bay, and gun stations before closing the fuselage and fitting the wing. Glue plastic with liquid cement, and use cyanoacrylate for the photo-etched parts. Large surfaces paint best with an airbrush over a primer; plan for a sturdy build and enough display-case space.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
