About product

Steel seat belts AH-1G Cobra (1:32, Eduard)

This set is NOT a kit but a detail accessory: a set of pre-colored photo-etched steel seat belts for a model of the Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter in 1:32 scale. The STEEL range uses thin steel sheet that can be shaped into a realistic sag of the straps.

The real subject

The Bell AH-1G Cobra was the first American purpose-built attack helicopter, in service from the second half of the 1960s in Vietnam. Its narrow fuselage, tandem seating and armored crew seats are among its characteristic features.

Building tips

Separate the belts, shape them into a natural sag and attach them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The printed colors usually only need gentle accenting; a metal base holds its shape better than paper or plastic belts.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of the AH-1G Cobra in 1:32 scale
  • Modelers who want realistic crew seats
  • Anyone interested in an easy but effective interior detail

This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. It is a detail set of seat belts, not a model in its own right.

The belts are made of thin steel sheet, which holds the shape of a realistic sag better than brass.

As a rule no. They are pre-printed; gentle accenting and fitting them into the seats is enough.
