These are 3D-printed, pre-colored parts on decal backing: once moistened they are applied like a decal, but when dry they form a fine three-dimensional relief with photorealistic colors, instruments and lettering. The result is a detailed interior with no painting needed. It is neither an aircraft model nor a kit; it is a detail accessory intended for the Mirage IIIC kit from Italeri, which you must own, and the parts will not fit other kits dimensionally. The Small version designation means a reduced (simplified) set holding only the most important and most visible cockpit elements (typically the instrument panel and the main side consoles). It is quicker to apply than the full version; the complete cockpit interior is made as a separate full version.
The Dassault Mirage IIIC is a French supersonic delta-wing fighter, the first production combat version of the Mirage III family. It was a pure interceptor for a rapid climb and the destruction of hostile aircraft; some machines could carry an auxiliary rocket motor for a steeper climb. Against the later multirole IIIE version the IIIC has a shorter nose and simpler avionics focused on air combat.
The parts are cut out, dipped in water for a few seconds and slid off the backing into place in the cockpit. Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin; a final overspray with a semi-gloss or matte clear coat unifies the surface and protects the colors. The surfaces the interior is applied to should be clean and degreased.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The Mirage IIIC kit itself, glue, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
