Open exhaust nozzle for the F-16 (F110-GE-129) 1:32 — a resin detail set of the nozzle for the version with the General Electric engine, made to suit the matching base kit. It is not an airplane model. It is meant for the Academy or AFV Club kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin (3D-printed) detail set reproducing the open exhaust nozzle of the F-16 Fighting Falcon in the version powered by the General Electric F110-GE-129 engine. This variant is made to suit the matching base kit and renders the nozzle in the spread state with well-worked petals. It is a modeling accessory, not an aircraft kit.
The target kits are the Academy or the AFV Club ones; those are bought separately.
The General Dynamics (today Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter. The version with the General Electric F110-GE-129 engine has a differently shaped exhaust nozzle from the machines powered by Pratt & Whitney, and this set reproduces it faithfully.
Wash the part free of release agent, separate the casting block and clean up the surface with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the inside of the nozzle in dark metallic and burnt shades so that the structure of the petals and the heat tinting stand out.
This is a detail accessory. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
