Unfolded main rotor for the AH-64 Apache with early blades, MUMT and the Longbow radar, 1:35 — a resin 3D-printed detail set by ResKit for a faithful rendering of the rotor system.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, 3D-printed detail set from ResKit, not a model of the helicopter. The set holds the main rotor of the AH-64 attack helicopter in the unfolded (flight) position with early blades, the antenna for cooperation with unmanned systems (MUMT) and the mast-mounted AN/APG-78 Longbow radar including ADSS elements. It matches the machines of the AH-64 series (A, D, E Early), the British AH Mk.I and the Israeli DI Saraf.
The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American attack helicopter with a four-blade main rotor. Its characteristic mast-mounted Longbow radar carries an antenna for finding and tracking targets; the data exchange systems allow cooperation with other assets, unmanned ones included. The early blades go with the older production series of the machine.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash and degrease them and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the rotor and the radar with a base coat; for realism bring out the details with a wash and discreet weathering.
The set is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a helicopter kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
