This is a prepainted three-dimensional instrument panel of colored resin, not a kit of an aircraft. The accessory is intended for models of the F-16C Block 40/42 in 1:32 scale and it raises the cockpit to a level you will reach only with difficulty by hand painting, with faithful displays, gauges and an imitated gloss of the glasses.

The real subject

The F-16C Block 40/42 (nicknamed the Night Falcon) is an American multirole fighter. Blocks 40 and 42 brought the capability of night and all-weather attack thanks to the LANTIRN system and modernized avionics, which showed in the arrangement of the instrument panel in the cabin as well.

Use and fitting

• Separate the part from the carrier frame and glue it in place of the original panel.
• Super glue (cyanoacrylate) is ideal; modeling PVA glue can be used as well.
• The surface is finished and neither the displays nor the gauges have to be painted in.
