Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures of Württemberg light infantry from the time of the Napoleonic Wars. It belongs to the same range as the grenadiers and musketeers from the same manufacturer and is listed in 1:32 scale, where a standing figure works out at roughly fifty-five millimeters. In this range the manufacturer supplies eighteen figures to a package.
Jaegers were light infantry meant for fighting in open order. They did not go into line shoulder to shoulder like infantrymen but used the terrain, covered an advance and picked off the enemy's officers. They were often recruited from men used to a weapon and to moving in woodland. The Kingdom of Württemberg fought as an ally of France and its corps went through the campaigns against Austria and the expedition to Russia.
Wash the figures in lukewarm water with dish soap, let them dry and take the mold seam off with a blade drawn at an angle. Apply a primer before painting. With light infantry it pays to treat the uniform more quietly than with line regiments, because jaegers were meant to disappear in the terrain. A shadow in the folds and a highlight on the raised areas will give even a small figure depth.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, and paints and glue are not included in the package.
