An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern German armored recovery vehicle Bergepanzer BPz2 Buffalo in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The new tooling offers a structured upper and lower hull, individual track links and photo-etched parts for a faithful rendering of this engineering support vehicle.
The Bergepanzer BPz2 Buffalo is a German recovery and engineering tank based on the chassis of the Leopard 1 tank. It serves to recover damaged or bogged vehicles, to change powerpacks and for engineering work in the field. It is fitted with a powerful crane, a recovery winch and a dozer blade, which makes it an indispensable part of armored units.
With a large vehicle work in subassemblies: first the running gear and the hull, then the crane and the superstructure. Assemble and paint the individual track links separately. Use thin cement for plastic on the joints and cyanoacrylate on the photo-etch. A primer and an airbrush form the base; washes and pigments will give the weathering of service use.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
