A plastic set of civilian butcher figures in 1:35 scale. MiniArt builds its civilian line as a coherent world of a European town: bakers, cheese sellers, waiters, travelers and inhabitants in everyday clothes stand side by side in it. The butchers fit into this family exactly and they suit everywhere a scene is to look inhabited, not merely military.
Military vehicles look static on their own in a display case. But it is enough to add a few civilian figures at a shop or at a marketplace and the scene gains a story - the viewer sees at once where and when it takes place. Civilian figures are also not tied to a single battlefield, so you will use them in many different subjects, outside a wartime theme as well.
Figures in this scale have small parts, so a sharp knife, thin cement for plastic and careful cleaning up of the joints, mainly on the sleeves and the hems, pay off. Apply a thin base before painting. Faces can be managed with acrylic glazes with gradual lightening, while clothing takes a darker base, lightening of the raised surfaces and a fine wash into the folds. Do not take pure white for the aprons and the white parts - they look better when you dirty them slightly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
