This is a photo-etched brass detail set from the Polish brand Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit in its own right but a set of thin metal parts with which you replace the coarser plastic front fenders and their supports on a model of the Panther Ausf. G/F tank and the Jagdpanther tank destroyer. Metal makes it possible to render thin-walled sheet and small damage faithfully, which is practically impossible in plastic.
The production front fenders of the Panther were of thin sheet metal and in the field they were often bent, distorted or missing altogether. The Aber photo-etched parts respect that thickness, so once bent and gently waved they look realistic. The clamps and the supports that carry the fenders are usually included.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them on a photo-etch bending tool or along the edge of a razor blade. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and more experienced modelers can also solder them. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a good primer so that the top coat holds.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
