German DAK soldiers at battery maintenance in 1:35 scale is a set of figures from the Italian maker Royal Model for dioramas from the African front of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures of members of the Afrikakorps (DAK) caught at the maintenance and servicing of equipment. The highly detailed casting uses modern technology and polyurethane resin, thanks to which the uniforms, the equipment and the pose are faithfully rendered. The set is intended to bring dioramas with African equipment to life and comes as a kit of several parts.
The Deutsches Afrikakorps operated in North Africa from 1941 to 1943 in demanding desert conditions. The soldiers wore light tropical uniforms and devoted a large part of their time to maintaining equipment that overheated and clogged with dust. Maintenance scenes are therefore among the typical and rewarding subjects of African dioramas.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, separate the casting blocks and sand the mold seams back with your breathing protected. Glue them with superglue (cyanoacrylate). Lay down a thin base; tropical uniforms come out in sand and olive shades with dusty weathering and shading into the folds.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
