The Jagdpanther combined the chassis of the Panther with an 8.8 cm anti-tank gun with a barrel 71 calibers long. The result was one of the few German vehicles that had decent mobility, a low silhouette and a weapon able to knock out an opponent at long range all at the same time. Series production ran from the beginning of 1944 and the total number stayed under five hundred, because the plants suffered from air raids and from a shortage of material. The late machines differ from the first production runs in the mounting of the barrel, in the form of the hatches and in small modifications intended to simplify assembly.
Rinse the parts before gluing and let them dry thoroughly. Bend long sheets gradually along their whole length, not at a single point. Dose cyanoacrylate glue with a pin; a drop straight from the tube tends to be needlessly large. The sloping surfaces of the superstructure call for careful masking, so that the transition of the three-color camouflage stays soft.
It is an accessory to a kit; neither that nor finishing materials are part of the delivery.
