Responsibility details are not available.
The JS-2 was a Soviet heavy tank of the second half of the war, built around a 122 mm gun. That gun gave it the firepower to knock out even a heavily armored vehicle or to break up a fortified house, but it was paid for: the ammunition was separate-loading, so it was loaded in two stages, the rate of fire was low and the supply of rounds in the turret was limited. The version designated model 1944 can be told from the older machines by the reworked front of the hull, where a single flat sloped plate replaced the stepped broken nose. Independent heavy tank regiments used it and in the last year of the war it was among the most powerful things the Red Army sent into battle.
This is a kit for assembly and painting. In 1:35 scale the finished model comes out around 28 centimeters long with the gun forward. The manufacturer's instructions state the extent of the parts, the type of tracks and the range of marking options.
Dry-fit the parts first, above all on the running gear and at the joint between turret and hull, and only then reach for the glue. Paint the running gear and the underside of the hull before you close them in with wheels and tracks, because a brush will not get in there afterwards. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. The turret of the real vehicle had a rougher, uneven surface and that is exactly what pays off to support on the model: a darker application in the recesses and a light lightening of the edges give it depth.
Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
