This is a resin (3D printed) set of miniature weapons in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a kit but an accessory for arming figures and bringing a scene to life. The high resolution print keeps the characteristic shape of the rifle as well as the small details.
The Karabiner 98k was a German bolt-action rifle, the standard service weapon of the Wehrmacht in the Second World War. It was based on the Mauser system, fired the 7.92x57 mm Mauser round and was known for its reliability and accuracy; it was produced in enormous numbers.
Resin can be sanded, drilled and cut in the usual way. Before lifting the parts off the supports, dip them in hot water, which softens the material so that it does not chip. Clean them of uncured print resin residue, bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and apply a primer before painting. Protect your airways while sanding.
