Responsibility details are not available.
A figure of a tanker dressed in a uniform of Italian camouflage fabric. The author is Royal Model of Italy; the material used is hard modeling resin, which can carry even the shallow pattern of the camouflage cut. The casting is aimed at armored vehicles in 1:35.
After Italy left the war in the autumn of 1943, the German side acquired large stocks of Italian camouflage fabric with a mottled pattern. Jackets and overalls were sewn from the material and appeared with the crews of heavy tanks too. The Königstiger, or Tiger II, was Germany's last series-built heavy tank and was deployed from 1944 in the west and in the east, so this combination of man and machine really does meet historically.
Work from the lightest base and add the patches in layers, always with heavily thinned paint and a fine brush. The pattern has to follow the folds, otherwise the cloth looks like printed paper. At the end, unify the whole with a dark wash, which runs into the grooves and visually calms the pattern down. Skin and metal are finished only once the fabric is done and no longer being touched.
The casting is sold unpainted and unassembled. Do not look in it for the tank, tools or paints, unless stated otherwise.
