This is NOT a vehicle model but a detail accessory for a kit. The set brings a color 3D-printed part on a decal backing that represents the rubber floor mat in the cab of the vehicle. The part has real three-dimensional relief and texture and is photorealistically printed, so the floor of the cab gains an accurate look without painting. The set is designed exactly for the plastic KrAZ-214B and KrAZ-255B kits in 1:35 scale from Roden; on kits from other makers it may not fit exactly, and you have to have the basic kit.
The KrAZ-214B and the KrAZ-255B derived from it are Soviet heavy off-road trucks with 6x6 drive, used by the army to carry loads, tow guns and serve as chassis for special bodies. The cab is simple and functional, which is why a colored floor mat is a detail that shows up nicely in an open or well-lit cab.
The part is applied much like an ordinary decal: soak it briefly, slide it off the backing and place it on the floor of the cab. Do not use a decal softener, it would attack the printed resin; instead press the part into the relief and against the edges with a soft tool, and it is a good idea to treat the surface with varnish before and after application. The mat is already colored and is not painted; the impression can be fine-tuned with a light wash or pigments.
This is an accessory for a kit. The KrAZ kit itself, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
