Responsibility details are not available.
The fighting in the Ardennes at the turn of 1944 and 1945 took place in hilly, wooded country in the middle of winter, and it was the weather that decided how a soldier looked. Anything that kept a man warm went on over the uniform, the gear was worn in layers, and boots and coat hems were caked with mud and wet snow. The set is conceived as members of a Luftwaffe ground unit, that is men trained for service with the air force and committed as infantry.
Figures in 1:35 scale in plastic on sprues. They are made up of several parts, as is usual for figures in this scale, so the position of the arms and head can be adapted to the scene to some extent. The box does not contain a vehicle, a base or terrain.
Clean up the mold seams carefully first; once the paint is on you can no longer save them. Glue the figures and dry-fit them in the arrangement you intend, so that they do not get in each other's way and their lines of sight match. Paint from the bottom up and leave the face until you can reach it with a brush from every side. Build the uniform up in thin coats, deepen the shadows and folds with a glaze and lighten the edges gently with dry-brushing. Mud on the boots and a soaked coat hem suit a winter scene and tie the figures into the terrain.
For builders of dioramas from the last year of the war and for the modeler who wants to add a crew or an escort to a vehicle. A vehicle, terrain, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
