An extensive photo-etched detail set for the Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz.186) in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber. A comprehensive set of fine metal parts for a kit of the German heavy tank destroyer: it is not a model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive detail accessory in photo-etched brass, not a model. The comprehensive set contains a great many fine brass photo-etched parts that replace and supplement the plastic parts of the kit of the German heavy tank destroyer Jagdtiger (Sd.Kfz.186) in 1:35 scale. It is a super set for a demanding build, covering the fenders, the grilles, the covers, the tool clamps and other fine details. It is made by Aber, a Polish specialist in photo-etch. Its scope aims it at advanced modelers.
The Jagdtiger was the heaviest series-produced tank destroyer of the Second World War. On a chassis derived from the Tiger II it carried a large-caliber 12.8 cm gun in a massive fixed superstructure. The vehicle weighed over 70 tons and its large hull offers a great deal of surface for fine detail.
For experienced modelers who are building the Jagdtiger in 1:35 scale and want the maximum of fine metal detail. Given its scope this is a more demanding, long build, and we do not recommend it to beginners.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
