Where containers like these come from

Contemporary armies carry drinking water, fuel and operating fluids in containers that are easy to stack and do not rust. You will meet them on the roofs of armored vehicles, in the depots of forward bases, with humanitarian convoys and in the back areas of police units. They will serve outside military subjects too, though, because on a building site or behind a barn a container like this looks exactly the same.

How to get plastic onto a model

Colored plastic is told by its saturation and a slight sheen, so it pays to lay a saturated shade over a light base and close the surface with a satin varnish. Suggest worn places with a lighter tone, not with a metallic color, because nothing rusts beneath a scratch. If there are decals with the labels of the containers in the package, they sit better on a smooth glossy surface and are then covered with a matte coat.
