The extensive photo-etched upgrade Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. B in 1:35 scale covers the hull and the turret of the German light tank with well-defined metal. Target kit: Dragon.
Responsibility details are not available.
This extensive metal set for a model of the German light tank covers the hull and the turret and turns coarse plastic surfaces into a well-defined one. Royal Model has put into it the parts that come into their own most on such a small machine: thin rims, gratings, grab handles and hatch catches. The tank itself is an ordinary kit, onto which the set is only then fitted. The set is intended for the Dragon kit.
The Panzerkampfwagen I was created in the middle of the 1930s as a school machine for the armored force then being built, armed with no more than a pair of machine guns. The Ausf. B version received a stronger Maybach engine, a longer hull and a fifth road wheel with a raised idler. Although it was defenseless against real tanks, it went through Spain, Poland, France and the first months of the campaign in the east, where splinters and anti-tank rifles quickly knocked it out. A number of chassis then saw out their service as tractors and weapon carriers.
On a small vehicle it is doubly true that a superfluous layer of metal shows, so thin the plastic beneath the photo-etch down. Sort the small parts into a dish in advance, as they get lost on the bench. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the engraved lines are not lost.
The base model and modeling chemicals are not part of the shipment.
