A detailed set of road wheels in 1:35 scale from Miniart, intended for a model of the T-54 medium tank in its early pattern. It is not a model of the tank but an add-on set of wheels with which you replace or complete the running gear of the base model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T-54 tank was among the most widely used postwar medium tanks. The individual production batches differed, among other things, in the shape of the road wheels; the early type had a characteristic disc pattern different from the later variants. Faithful wheels therefore help to place a model correctly in a particular production batch.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully and clean up the gate marks. Glue the wheels with modeling cement, and with rubber treads take care to separate the disc and the tread cleanly. Apply a primer before painting; paint the discs and the tires separately, and it pays to bring out the running gear with a wash and with dust or mud pigments for a faithfully worn look.
This is an add-on set, not a model of the tank. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
