Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli tank Tiran 4 Sharir in its late form, in 1:35 scale from Miniart. It is a so-called interior kit, which contains a finely worked-out inside of the fighting compartment as well as of the driver's compartment. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit; the exact contents of the package (the number of parts, photo-etched parts, decals) are not stated here.
Tiran 4 is the Israeli designation for captured Soviet T-54 tanks that Israel took over after the fighting of the second half of the 20th century, repaired and rebuilt to its own needs. The modifications included changes to the armament, the communications, the stowage of tools and the external equipment so that the tank suited Israeli service. The byname Sharir designates a particular rebuild version; the late type differs from the earlier ones in the details of the equipment and the fittings on the hull and the turret.
With an interior kit, first assemble and paint the inside of the fighting compartment, the engine and the driver's part and only then close the hull; the hatches can be left open and the interior thus displayed. Separate the parts with a knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. After the base coat with an airbrush bring out the details with a wash, and add the wear of the edges and dust with pigments on the running gear and the bottom of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
