Water jerry can 20 l Wehrmacht 1:35 is a 3D-printed resin German army accessory for dioramas and for adding to vehicles and figures in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed resin accessory, not a standalone model. The set reproduces the German twenty-liter can for water in the Wehrmacht version of the Second World War. It serves to bring dioramas to life, to load vehicles and to complete figures and field scenes in 1:35 scale.
The German standard can (Einheitskanister), designed in the 1930s, became the pattern for the cans of every army. It was made in a fuel version and a water version; the water can was distinguished by a white cross and lettering so that the contents could not be confused, and it usually had a wider neck. Three handles, the pressed cross on the sides and the folding catch of the closure are characteristic.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry. Before separating them from the supports and any drilling, it helps to dip them in hot water for a moment: the resin softens slightly and will not chip. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sanded with respiratory protection. They are painted with ordinary modeling paints; a darker base, drybrushed edges and a light patina of rust and dust help the realistic look.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
