About product

Miniart Wooden Boxes & Crates 1:35 (diorama set)

This is not a vehicle or aircraft model but an add-on plastic set for dioramas and display cases. The package contains an assortment of wooden boxes and crates with a faithfully rendered imitation of wood grain, and a hand truck. The parts are assembled from injection-molded plastic and serve to fill out and liven up scenes in 1:35 scale.

What the set contains

  • Several boxes and crates of various sizes.
  • A hand truck.
  • Decals with period and modern markings for various eras of the 20th century.

Building and painting tips

  • Glue the parts with classic plastic cement.
  • Dry-brushing and light washes into the recesses bring out the wood grain.
  • Apply the decals over a slightly glossy base so that no silvering occurs.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of dioramas and of military and civilian scenes.
  • Modelers who want to fill out a display case with convincing supplies and cargo.

The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
