MiniArt Wooden Boxes and Crates 1:35 is a plastic kit of wooden boxes and crates for completing dioramas and military scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from MiniArt in 1:35 scale. The set contains a selection of wooden boxes and crates with realistically rendered wood texture and a supplementary decal sheet. It is not a vehicle model but a diorama accessory meant to finish off a scene.
Wooden boxes and crates were ordinary equipment on supply routes and in depots throughout the twentieth century, in the Second World War as well as in modern times. They serve to carry ammunition, rations and materiel, and in a diorama they give a scene scale and a story.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. The wood texture comes out after a brown base coat and then accenting with a dry brush and thin washes that flow into the engraved seams. The decals can be settled on a moistened area treated with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
