The set itself is not a model: it is a set of etched metal parts that you add to the base kit and use to replace the coarser plastic elements.
The Renault FT-17 was the groundbreaking light tank of the First World War with a rotating turret and the engine at the rear. That layout became the pattern for the overwhelming majority of later tanks. The version with the cast turret was one of the typical forms.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
