Flyhawk 280mm/52 SK C/28 metal gun barrel 1:350 is a turned replacement barrel for the main armament of models of the German ship Admiral Graf Spee.

This is an accessory for modelers, not a model in its own right. The set holds precisely turned metal barrels of 280 mm caliber (the SK C/28 type, 52 calibers long) for the main guns of the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from a kit and bring a straight shape, a symmetrical muzzle and fine detail with no parting seams.
The 280 mm SK C/28 guns made up the main armament of the German so-called pocket battleships (Panzerschiffe) of the Deutschland class, among them the Admiral Graf Spee, famous for the Battle of the River Plate in 1939. They were mounted in triple turrets.
Separate the barrels carefully, clean off any flash and degrease them. Spray the metal with a primer for metal first and glue with super glue. The accurate muzzles stand out even after washes and naval weathering have been applied.
These are replacement parts, not a kit in their own right. The base ship model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
