This is a photo-etched (PE) brass detail set, not a model of a ship. The set follows on from the first part of the series and adds further faithful radar antennas and fine structures beyond the reach of injection-molded plastic to plastic models of German warships of the Second World War in 1:350 scale.
Fine etched mesh and radar frames give the masts and superstructures fidelity to scale. Once assembled and painted they make a prominent and technically compelling feature of a model.
Separate the parts carefully and shape the mesh in a photo-etch bender. Glue with thin super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with UV glue; apply a primer to the metal before painting.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. A matching base kit is needed for the build; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
