1:43 race driver No. 2, the 1930s (a 3D-printed figure) is one 3D-printed resin figure of a racing driver of the 1930s in 1:43 scale from the brand FLY, the second pose to go with driver No. 1, an accessory for a scene beside a model of a period racing car.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is one 3D-printed resin figure of a racing driver of the 1930s in 1:43 scale from the brand FLY. It is not a car model and not a toy; it is an unpainted accessory for bringing a scene to life beside a model of a period racing car, on a diorama or on a display stand. It is supplied as a resin part to be cleaned up and painted.
The figure captures a driver of the prewar Grand Prix era, in period overalls, with a leather or cloth helmet and racing goggles, the way racing drivers looked in the 1930s. This variant No. 2 is the second of two poses offered; a separate race driver No. 1 (a different pose) can be had as well. Combining the two figures makes a livelier scene with a pair of different characters beside models of period racing cars in 1:43 scale.
Carefully separate the figure from the print supports, clean up the marks they leave and wash it clean of residue. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a thin primer before painting; paint the small figure with good brushes in acrylic figure paints and deepen the details (the flesh, the overalls, the helmet, the goggles) with a wash and emphasize them with a dry brush. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
This is a figure in its own right (an accessory), not a car model. It is supplied unpainted; paints, glue, a model of the car and further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
