A self-adhesive Eduard masking set with which you paint the US national insignia and the code letters by spraying. These are not decals – the masks define the shape of the markings, which you then spray with paint directly onto the surface of the model. The result is markings without the glossy film of a decal, following the texture of the surface perfectly. The base kit is Revell.
The Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress carried the US national insignia, a white star in a blue circle with side bars, and letter or number codes for the units. Sprayed markings look more realistic than a decal and carry no risk of silvering.
For modelers who prefer sprayed markings without the risk of decal silvering and want the greatest possible realism of the surface.
The masks are an accessory; the model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
