The Bristol Bulldog was a British single-seat fighter biplane of all-metal structure with fabric covering, powered by the Bristol Jupiter radial engine. It entered service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s and became one of the main fighter types of British aviation in the first half of the 1930s. It was popular for its good agility and ruggedness and was also used for training and as an aerobatic display machine.
On a biplane, pay attention to the seating of the spars and struts between the wings: follow the instructions and let the joints dry properly so that the geometry of the upper wing sits right. Use liquid cement on the plastic joints. Lay a primer before painting; an airbrush helps with the even opaque colors of interwar schemes. Rigging between the wings and the tail surfaces raises the realism considerably and can be added with a fine thread. Seat the decals on a gloss coat so that no silvering appears.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
