A photo-etched set from the Czech firm Eduard for a faithful rendering of the landing flaps of a model of the German Fw-190 A-8 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that replaces the plastic flaps and reveals their inner structure.
The parts of thin brass sheet make it possible to display the flaps in the lowered position with a fine ribbed structure. The pieces are separated from the fret, formed and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once a base coat has been sprayed on, they are painted to match the wing.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
