Responsibility details are not available.
This is an add-on set of injection-molded plastic parts from which you build a number of German steel drums with a volume of 200 liters. The set contains parts for twenty drums and is meant to complete dioramas, military scenes and the support area of combat vehicles in 1:48 scale. It is not a vehicle model and not an aircraft kit but a scenic accessory.
Two-hundred-liter steel drums were among the most widespread containers for fuel and oil in every army of the Second World War. They were stored at refueling points, on the beds of trucks and in field depots, and they are a rewarding feature that gives a scene a sense of scale and a story.
Separate the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with modeling cement for plastic. Clean up and sand the seams after gluing. The drums come out well with realistic weathering: after the base color, chipped paint, rusty traces around the rims and running fuel stains created with a wash and pigments suit them. Combine several shades so that no two drums look the same.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
